Live board
The pit wall on the other monitor
Starter copy. The race screen holds the track, the field, fuel, tires, and who has the radio. Safety rating and iRating sit on the list with the incident count.
Spotter
Traffic calls in his own voice
Starter copy. He talks only to the driver. Left, right, clear, and the yellow. He stays quiet while the radio is busy, then gives the picture once.
Crew chief
The voice on the button
Starter copy. Push to talk goes to the chief. He reads the car back and calls the pit stop from the engineer’s sheet. He does not invent a click.
Engineer
The notebook behind the chief
Starter copy. He works off the setup after Apply, the goal of the run, and the gauges. His notes stay off the radio except in a practice-only server.
